About Price Folk

Prices, dates and the fine print on U.S. deals and services, checked against the source.

Last updated Oct. 25, 2026

Companies announce things every day: a holiday meal, a free-meal day, a new channel lineup, a store that will be closed. The announcement usually leaves out what you need to decide: the price per person, the last day to order, who actually qualifies, and what is not confirmed yet. Price Folk reads the announcement, finds the official page behind it, checks every price, date and condition, and puts it in a form you can compare.

What you will find here

  • Savings & Deals: promotions, free-meal days, seasonal deals and what it takes to get them.
  • Products & Services: prices, plans, availability and changes that affect what you pay or how you watch, use or buy something.
  • Dates & Planning: store hours, order deadlines and the calendar dates shopping depends on.

Every page opens with the short answer, shows the day it was last checked, lists its sources with the date each was checked, and keeps an update history. Offers carry a status that follows their own dates, so a deal that ended says so on its own. How that works is on How we check prices.

Who is behind it

Price Folk is edited and signed by Bruno Monteiro, its founder and editor, who is responsible for everything published here. Pages are researched and drafted with the help of AI tools and checked against official sources before they go up; Bruno reviews each one after it is published. The details are in our editorial policy.

Who is Folk?

Folk is our mascot: a price tag that lives in the fine print. You will see Folk next to “The catch” on every page, the condition most people miss. Folk is a character, not an author; every page is signed by the editor who answers for it.

How Price Folk makes money

Right now, it does not: there are no ads and no affiliate links on the site. If that changes, the affiliate disclosure and the pages involved will say so, and no company can pay to be included in, or left out of, a comparison.
