Thanksgiving Dinner To Go 2026: Prices Per Person, From Cracker Barrel to Aldi
Every heat-and-serve meal and grocery dinner deal with a published 2026 price, divided by the number of people it feeds, with the order and pickup dates.

The short answer
The lowest published 2026 price on our list is Aldi’s grocery dinner for 10 at under $39, or less than $3.90 a person, but you cook it. For a fully cooked meal, Cracker Barrel’s Turkey Feast works out to about $19 a person when it feeds 10, and its Turkey Family Dinner to about $20 a person for six. Walmart and Kroger have not announced their 2026 grocery baskets yet.

How we figured the price per person
We divide each company’s published price by the largest number of people it says the meal feeds, so a meal that “feeds 4–6” is counted at six. Tax, tips and delivery or service fees are not included. Where a company gives a typical price (“around $189.99”) or a ceiling (“under $39”), the table keeps its wording, because the total you pay can be a little different.
Fully cooked or cook it yourself?
The numbers are not the same kind of dinner. Cracker Barrel’s meals arrive cooked and, the company says, heat in two hours or less. Popeyes sells only the turkey, frozen and already cooked, so you still need every side. Aldi, Target, Wegmans, Walmart and Kroger price a grocery list as a bundle: you thaw, roast and cook everything yourself.
If you go the grocery route, plan the thaw before the shopping trip. The U.S. Department of Agriculture puts a 12- to 16-pound turkey at three to four days in the refrigerator, so a bird for Thursday should be thawing by the weekend before.
The dates to put on the calendar
- Oct. 23: Popeyes Cajun-Style Turkey pickup began (orders opened Oct. 19).
- Nov. 4: Aldi’s 16-pound turkey arrives in stores.
- Nov. 8: Wegmans pricing starts (its turkey price runs through Nov. 22), and so does Target’s $30 meal for six.
- Nov. 21: Cracker Barrel pickup opens.
- Nov. 25: last day of Aldi’s bundle price.
- Nov. 26: Thanksgiving.
- Nov. 28 and 29: last days for Wegmans pricing, Target’s meal price and Cracker Barrel pickup.
How these compare with cooking from scratch
Aldi built its 2026 list against the American Farm Bureau Federation’s Thanksgiving survey, which put a classic dinner for 10 at about $55.18 in 2025, or roughly $5.52 a person. The Farm Bureau had not published its 2026 number when we checked.
